Welcome to the Detroit Lakes, MN homeschool blog! The name of our group is SEARCH (Support, Encouragemet, Activities, and Resources for Christian Home Educators). We would love to help provide any or all these things to you and your children in your homeschooling. If you are new or old to homeschooling we are here to support and help you! Please feel free to email us ( detroitlakeshomeschool@yahoo.com) and let us know how we can best do that. We do not charge anything and have no membership but welcome your family to join us at any events. We would love to see you get involved as much or as little as you are comfortable with. If you would like to plan events, tours, co-ops or whatever, WE WOULD ENCOURAGE IT or just come and see the fun that we have together!! We put out a monthly newsletter August thru May. It is posted on this site on the ‘Newsletter and Calendar” tab and you can get it emailed or mailed to you.
Service Team
We have an opening on the service team, so if you like to plan and are full of fun ideas, let us know you are interested in joining the team. We meet once a month. If you don’t have the time to commit to being on the service team, but would like to help with even one event, we welcome your participation with that, as well.
